#THATNOPANTSLIFESTYLE or TNPL is a personal project of couples and families hangout out in their spaces together in pajamas or underwear in various states of undress to reflect the connectivity, vulnerability, and comfort we share in each other and our personal spaces.
Anytime I get to photograph Grace it makes me so happy. This sweet girl has become such a great friend over the last four years, and watching her relationship grow with Luke has been wonderful. I had mentioned my project to Grace during a sushi lunch date and she was immediately excited about the idea of intimate couples boudoir pictures at their home.
Grace + Luke live in a charming little cottage that they have decorated with posters of the band that Luke plays in, little knick knacks from flea markets and antique stores, Luke’s collectibles, and Grace’s little touches to make their cottage into a home. A tiny home. An adorable tiny home!
There’s something so amazing about watching how two people cuddle and share loving touches that say I’m here with you and there’s no where else in the world I’d rather be. Watching their secret smiles and how they dance in their living room to the music on the TV is the exact reason I wanted to start this project. This is all about the intimacy + vulnerability that we share in our personal spaces.
