Learnin’ all day and partying (and a little more learnin’) all night. That pretty much sums up Field Trip, a retreat for photographers who don’t learn well under florescent lighting in a conference room setting. This is camping for adults. As in, there’s alcohol.
Neither of us went to sleep away summer camp as kids, and both of us are all about camping + cabin life, so this is one of our favorite trips to date – and Roy’s first photography-related workshop. I can’t hog all the fun now.
Go to Field Trip to enjoy: confetti, karaoke, campfires, dancing under the stars, going to the beach at night to shoot the stars and watch the moon rise, snuggle in cabins, get wild in the smilebooth, meet other makers + shakers, and the most important of all – making new friends complete with friendship bracelets. This retreat is all about the openness to be our weird selves.
